Method 1. Add Multiple Photos on One Instagram Story Directly

This method is what most people rely on to post multiple pictures. You can select up to 10 pictures and upload as an Instagram story.

Step 1

Launch Instagram. Tap the Plus icon in the top right corner. Choose Story.

Step 2

Enter your camera roll by clicking on the small image you see in the bottom-left corner.

Step 3

Tap on the icon in the top right corner shaping as two overlapping squares. Then select up to 10 photos. Click next when the selection is done.

Step 4

Edit your photos if necessary, for example, adding stickers, adding text.

The new Instagram layout feature helps you make collages of your favorite photos and post as an Instagram story. Currently, Instagram provides layouts of only 2-6 grids.

Tap the camera icon on the top-left corner of your screen to open Instagram Stories.

Go to the left side of the screen, tap the Layout icon. Choose your favorite layout.

Tap the Photo icon on the bottom left, select the photos you want to add to the grid. Crop your photos so they fit the collage.

Tap the plus icon on the top-left corner of your screen to enter Instagram Stories.

Step 2

Click on the camera icon, enter your camera roll to upload the first photo.

Click on the Sticker icon on the upper-right corner of the screen, search for Photo Sticker. Tap it.

Step 4

Tap on the photo sticker and choose the photo you want to overlay to the background photo. Edit the photo, for example, adding filters, changing its position.
