Step 1

Go to the Settings section of your Instagram and click “Privacy,” after which you click “Reels.”

How to Remix an Instagram Reel

Step 1

Pick your preferred video and click on the three dots at the bottom right. If a user has already enabled their Remix feature, you will see the “Remix This Reel” on that section.

Upload or record a new Reel video. At this point, you will notice that your new video will show on the right-hand side of your screen.

Next is to your edit your video. You can choose to add text, draw shapes, mix the audio, add a voiceover, and even add stickers.

Add a caption, and select your preferred video settings—tap “Share” when you are ready to post.

To change or mix audio, click the mix sticker. Click “Edit,” then select a new section or the original audio. You can as well select an entirely new song by clicking “Change.”

While on step 2, note that you can also change the speed of your Reel, set the timer, alignment, and run a general touch-up (if you wish).
